E18: How Do You React When Another Child is Being Mean to your Child?
Bryce is a funny, mechanical, HAPPY little guy who was diagnosed with autism at age two and now five years old. His pure joy makes this world a much better place!
In this episode, we talk about our visit to Kennedy Space Center - the fun that we had as well as Bryce's encounter with a couple of kids who were not very kind ... We also talk about some AMAZING communication breakthroughs Bryce made this past week, as well as a very disturbing self-inflicting new behavior.
This autism journey is full of highs and lows. It's the way we respond to each one that will shape our lives and Bryce's future. We hope this episode sheds more light on what we encounter parenting a child with autism. Although we live in a world filled with a lot of routine for Bryce, we receive surprises - happy and sad ones - almost daily.
